A friends daughter was turning one, and she is a "little princess". I haven't made a step card before so this is my first one which I cased from a variety of other SU demos, taking ideas here and there.
I used the candle from the Party This Way stamp set and the rest of the stamping was done using the Little Princess stamp set.
Stamped the "princess" and blender penned her with matching colours to the Designer Series Paper. Tied the cake tiers with Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon. Used the scallop edge punch to punch the cake icing.
The problem with this type of card is if you don't leave any writing space on the tiers of front panel, the only option is to write your greeting on the inside, which I did and then discovered that I'd written on the wrong side...oh well.
