Its a new Year and what a better way to start the year off than with a new Occasions Catalogue and the added bonus of Sale-a-Bration.

These are the two projects we completed on the night.

Dragonfly Dreams and a Tasty Treats "shaker" card.

 I got carried away and also made two cute Tasty Treat vans, like the one shown in the catalogue.

We even had a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

And the girls gave me a lovely bouquet of flowers.

Stampin' Up! Workshop 10 January 2016

Here's some photos I took of a recent workshop for a dear friend of mine, Vanita.  Thanks for hosting and providing a wonderful lunch and afternoon tea.

A brand new year and 2 new catalogues to show off. It's Sale-A-Bration time and the new Occasions catalogue is now available.

Lotus Blossum

The Lotus Blossom stamp set also from the 2015 Sale-A-Brations catalogue is a 2-step stamping process, although in this case it actually needs 3 steps.

For this stamp set, it is best to stamp the 3rd image first and the 1st bold image last, and when using darker colours, it is best to stamp off some of the colour before stamping the image, otherwise you lose all the details.

You Brighten My Day

Using the You Brighten My Day stamp set in the Sale-A-Brations catalogue, I made this card which can be used for someone who has got engaged.  If you swap out the DSP, take out the hearts you could use it as a house warming card. So many uses for this stamp set. 

Best Day Ever

Another stamp set from the 2015 Sale-A-Brations catalogue, I thought this would make a great masculine card and can be used for any occasion.  When I was making this card it was Australia Day, so I used the colours from the Australian flag. Being a public holiday it was the "best day ever" as far as I was concerned.
