Christmas Tri-Fold Card

When looking for projects to make in my Christmas in July Club meeting, I came across a tri-fold card using the Christmas Classics stamp set. So I tried my hand at replicating it.  Not sure where I saw it now, but if I come across the website I will post a link to it.  Anyway here is my take on it.

Club SUM #2

We had 6 members present. Unfortunately, new member, Maria was very sick and didn't want to infect everyone else, and Eileen had to work late and then couldn't find my place :(

Our second workshop/club meeting had a very Christmassy feel to it. We started off by making a combined card and gift card holder. Small and simple, but comes in handy when giving gift voucher cards or "scratchies". We used the Punch Pals stamp set to decorate the card.

For our second project we made a card with the Holiday Lineup stamp set. Steering away from the traditional christmas colours, we used Kraft, Ballet Blue and Soft Suede, with a touch of Real Red.

With lots of Christmas cards and ideas on display, I hope the club members are now in the mood to continue making their cards/gifts so that when December comes around, they aren’t madly thinking what to do and have already got a stack load of Christmas cards prepared to send out.

I had “Snowman Soup” packs ready to give as treats for my club members, but forgot to hand them out at the end of the night, so when their goodies come in,  I am going to include them in their bags, so that they have an additional surprise. Just what you need on a cold winter’s day.
